Access to Avalon
Avalon Restaurant is set in the dress circle of the old Savoy Picture Theatre in main street Katoomba. The theatre was built in 1936.
Access to the dining room and cocktail bar is via a flight of approx. 20 steps (pictured). The steps are approx. 1.8m wide with handrails provided on both sides.
There are also 3 steps from the street level at the foyer entrance.
Due to the age and design of the building, unfortunately there is no elevator or ramps, making wheelchair access difficult.
